ABOUT NCSC

The National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) is a flagship programme of the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), functioning under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

It is a nationwide science communication and education initiative aimed at promoting scientific temper among children and encouraging them to engage in hands-on research and innovation.

The core objective is to:

  • Provide a platform for children (10–17 years) to demonstrate creativity and innovation
  • Encourage them to identify local problems and solve them using scientific methods
